I’m a Denver kids photographer, and this little guy’s family has been coming to see me since his big brother Charlie was a newborn. And BOY did we do a lot of sessions with just Charlie before Ben was born. So, to even the score, his parents decided to have me do a three year session JUST for Ben. Sorry, Charlie!
I love taking Denver family portraits! This adorable couple met when they were kids. She was literally “the girl next door.” Several years, and four kids later, they are still so obviously “sweethearts”. Everyone together now: Awwwwwwwww

So I present….Batgirl in her party dress. HA! This was a session from a workshop I taught a couple weeks ago. We shot at nearly noon. All of the images were full sun (no shade in sight) except the last one which was in open shade. I really had fun working with this little girl, and I love photographing kids in Denver in general.

Sweet little Harrison had to postpone his 9 day session with me due to some not so photogenic tape to his ears. When the tape had to stay even longer, his mom and I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Even though he was out of the “sleepy, curly newborn” phase, with some hats and the right angles, we were able to get some really great images! I love being a Denver newborn photographer and getting to work with these great families.

Would you believe this was an hour or so after a tornado warning? It was SO dreary that day but we managed to get THIS! Pretty excited about that. Sometimes a great photo shoot in Denver can come despite less than ideal circumstances.

Meet Charlie and Nora. I met them in 2009 when Charlie brought his baby sister in for her one year photos. They came back again a couple years later and then I got to see them last weekend. WOW, have they grown into beautiful young people. Nora was full of giggles and Charlie made sure to tell everyone what was required of them (Smile!!) I love photographing siblings in Denver because it’s a great way to capture time for a family.

I first met Merus when she was two though my Denver photography studio. And she was a “cover girl” for Mothering Magazine. We have been friends ever since. She used to bring her mom and dad to our playdates (or sometimes just mom), but for the past year, she has brought her new baby sisters to our sessions! You can tell she’s pretty proud of them! It’s been such a joy to watch her family grow and to see her sisters, Margaux and Ellis develop their own personalities and looks.
